Art in the Windows

Rittenhouse Studio is a participant in the Carriage Barn Arts Center’s 2021 Art in the Windows exhibition and fundraiser. We have four pieces on exhibition from June 3 - 18th, 2021. Two of those pieces are at Manfredi Jeweler’s at 72 Elm Street and two are at Jean Jacobs Gallery at 84 Main Street. You can support art in New Canaan by buying one of these pieces or by donating to the New Canaan Society for the Arts. Even if you cannot make Art in the Windows (runs June 3, 2021 to June 18, 2021) you’ll definitely want to stop by Jean Jacobs Gallery to see their current exhibit (runs June 3, 2021 to July 18, 2021) of work by Dan Makara. Opening night for Dan’s exhibition was packed and his work will definitely challenge you to think. There’s a painting with cyan, indigo, and tomato red that is out of this world.

It’s named, Swell - and is Acrylic & Oil on Canvas - 58" x 51"
I’d love to have it myself!
