15th Annual Art in the Windows

Rittenhouse Glass Art Studio is a participant in the Carriage Barn Arts Center’s 2022 Art in the Windows exhibition and fundraiser. We have four pieces on exhibition from June 3 - 18th, 2022. One is exhibited at Manfredi Jeweler’s - 72 Elm Street, another at Elm Street Books - 35 Elm Street, another at Tonk - 21 South Avenue, and the last one at Eyes on Elm - 146 Elm Street. You can support art in New Canaan by buying one of these pieces, the profits from which are split between the artist and the Carriage Barn Arts Center. In addition to the aforementioned locations exhibiting our work during Art in the Windows 2022, we will also be participating in the June 4, 2022 Art in the Windows opening ceremony and Festival at South and Elm Streets in New Canaan, CT from 10am - 4pm.

Between 12:30 and 2:00pm on June 4, 2022, we will be demonstrating our hot cane pulling techniques by forming glass at 1525 degrees F into long rods that will later be used to make sculptural forms and glass boxes.
